What do we need from you?

In short, you need to provide your Business Model Canvas, your prototype, and your pitch deck before the deadline: 12 pm on Sunday, February 8th, 2026. Any late submission will be penalized or not accepted.

These 3 documents must be submitted on Updash containing: The Business Plan, The Prototype, and Pitch Deck. These should all be submitted as PDFs, except the Pitch Deck which can be either a PDF or PPTX. ****

Please feel free to share your idea with the other participant’s on Upstart’s DevPost! Unless exceptional circumstances, they will not be considered in the judging scheme.

Your Business Model Canvas

Please use our suggested Business Model Canvas template. You should only submit the provided template. Make sure all your content is concise and straight to the point.

Note: We’re not asking you for an essay in your Business Canvas! Your Business Canvas can be filled with bullet points.

Your Prototype

We want to leave this part all up to you! We only ask that your prototype be presented in the form of a mockup, drawing, or virtual design depending on your type of project:

Software 💻

If your product is a software product, we don’t need you to code! You can provide a clickable or mockup of the different pages of the software. You can use Figma!

Physical Product 🛠

If your product is a physical product, we don’t need you to build it! You can provide any type of drawing (technical or digital) of the product.
